Receiving Communion

  • Make a simple bow when the person in front of you is receiving communion; do not wait until it is your turn
  • Say "Amen" loud enough to be heard
  • Let the Eucharist be given to you; do not take it
  • If receiving in the hand, make sure your hands are clean and respectful

  • Cross your arms if you are coming for a blessing only
  • Fast for one hour from food and drink, except water

APA

Several weeks ago you received a letter and a pledge card from Bishop Lynch asking you to support the 2009 APA. To date, few families have made a gift or pledge to APA. Our goal is to have 100% participation. Please prayerfully consider supporting the APA with a pledge or one-time gift. Convenient 10 month payment plans are available. In advance, thank you and God bless you.
