Saturday evening, Sept. 21 was the kick-off BBQ dinner. Almost 150 joined us in the parish hall for Willie Davies' famous BBQ chicken, baked beans, cole slaw, desserts and beverage, and for only $5. Can't beat that. After dinner we were entertained with Karaoke singing and with Joanne G. there, even a 50/50. Can you imagine that. It was a great night of fun and a great spirit to start our countdown to the parish carnival. Many took the opportunity to sign up for various booths and consessions.
